Our Business Cases:

Two basic scenarios on the basis of which flinkey can also be integrated into your solution

Business Case 1

flinkey & Solution Provider

You offer a mobility solution already or plan to do so? This is what it takes to integrate to manage and opperate the flinkey boxes with your apps or devices.

Once a booking was created in the Provider’s Cloud, a digital key for the specific access rights is requested via the Flinkey API.

The Digital Key Management issues a corresponding digital key with a defined, but limited validity.

This digital key is automatically sent to the Solution Provider App onto the related user‘s mobile device (smartphone).

Enabled by the digital key the user can now operate the flinkey Box via the Solution Provider App and open or close the vehicle.

Authentication is based on a „Challenge Response Method“ enabling also an offline interaction between the mobile device and the vehicle via the flinkey box inside.

In case a Mobility Solution Provider operates a – fully flinkey integrated – Telematics Device in the vehicle, more operations, such as remote locking / unlocking in support cases, can be executed. The additional data related to flinkey based activities, e. g. locking / unlocking can be retrieved for the Solution Provider‘s Analytics.

Business Case 2

flinkey, Mobility Service Provider & Integrator

You have a full service offering, i.e. car sharing or rent-a-car business, or are designing one right now and intend to use the benefits of a telematics device?

Feel free to involve an integrator, in order to set up the integration between flinkey, the Edge Device and you applications.

Mobility Service Providers may not only want to use a telematics device but to assign a 3rd party Integrator to realize the entire integration. In this case the integrator will receive a unique device key of his own and gets entitled to execute more operations, such as remote locking / unlocking in support cases, via his Integrator Solution Cloud. Beyond that, additional data related to flinkey based activities, e. g. locking / unlocking, can be retrieved and bundled into Telematics Services subscribed by the Mobility Service Provider.

How can the flinkey solution be technically integrated?

In combination with the flexible software development kits (SDKs), you can integrate the flinkey solution individually. The flinkey API can be used to automatically request digital keys (certificates) for the users and authorisations managed in the cloud on Microsoft Azure. These are then sent to the integration partner’s smartphone app via the Mobile SDK.

What could it look like for your business case?
