The data sent by us and linked to cookies, user IDs (e.g. user ID) or advertising IDs are automatically deleted after 14 months. Data whose retention period has been reached is automatically deleted once a month.

The storage of Google Analytics cookies and the use of this analysis tool are based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the analysis of user behavior in order to optimize both his website and his advertising. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and to provide further services to the website operator in connection with the use of the website and the Internet. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google.

5. Use of Hotjar

We use Hotjar to better understand the needs of our users and to optimize the services on this website. Hotjar’s technology helps us gain a better understanding of our users’ experiences (e.g. how much time users spend on which pages, which links they click, what they like and what they don’t like, etc.) and this helps us to tailor our offering to our users’ feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect information about our users’ behavior and their end devices (including, but not limited to, IP address of the device (only collected and stored in anonymous form), screen size, device type (Unique Device Identifiers), information about the browser used, location (country only), language preferred to view our website). Hotjar stores this information in a pseudonymous user profile. The information is not used by Hotjar or by us to identify individual users or merged with other data about individual users. For more information, please see Hotjar’s privacy policy here.

You can object to Hotjar storing a user profile and information about your visit to our website and to Hotjar Tracking cookies being set on other websites by clicking on https://www.hotjar.com/legal/compliance/opt-out.

We have signed a contract with Hotjar for order processing.

6. Use of Google Adwords Conversion and Remarketing / Facebook Pixel

We use the offer of Google Adwords to draw attention to our attractive offers by means of advertising material (so-called Google Adwords) on external websites. We can determine in relation to the data of the advertising campaigns, how successful the individual advertising measures are. In this way, we pursue the interest to show you advertising that is of interest to you, to make our website more interesting for you and to achieve a fair calculation of advertising costs.

These advertising media are delivered by Google via so-called “Ad Servers”. For this purpose, we use ad server cookies, through which certain parameters can be measured to measure success, such as the display of ads or clicks by users. If you reach our website via a Google ad, Google Adwords will store a cookie on your PC. These cookies usually expire after 30 days and are not intended to identify you personally. The unique cookie ID, number of ad impressions per placement (frequency), last impression (relevant for post-view conversions) and opt-out information (marking that the user no longer wishes to be contacted) are usually stored as analysis values for this cookie.

These cookies enable Google to recognize your internet browser. If a user visits certain pages of an AdWords client’s website and the cookie stored on their computer has not expired, Google and the client can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to that page. A different cookie is assigned to each Adwords client. Cookies cannot be tracked through the websites of Adwords clients. We ourselves do not collect and process any personal data in the advertising measures mentioned above. We only receive statistical evaluations from Google. By means of these evaluations we can recognize which of the advertising measures used are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of the advertising material, in particular we cannot identify the users on the basis of this information.

Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you according to our state of knowledge: Through the integration of AdWords Conversion, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an advertisement from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, it is possible that the provider will find out and save your IP address.

You can prevent participation in this tracking process in various ways: a) by adjusting your browser software settings accordingly, in particular by suppressing third-party cookies, so that you do not receive third-party ads; b) by disabling cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain “www.googleadservices.com”, https://www.google.de/settings/ads, whereby this setting will be deleted if you delete your cookies; c) by deactivating the interest-based ads of the providers that are part of the self-regulation campaign “About Ads” via the link http://www.aboutads.info/choices, whereby this setting will be deleted if you delete your cookies; d) by permanently deactivating them in your Firefox, Internetexplorer or Google Chrome browsers under the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. We would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this offer to their full extent.

The legal basis for the processing of your data is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DS-GVO. Further information on data protection at Google can be found here: http://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy and https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html. Alternatively, you can visit the website of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) at http://www.networkadvertising.org. Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

Besides Adwords Conversion we use the application Google Remarketing. This is a procedure with which we would like to address you again. This application allows us to show you our advertisements after your visit to our website during your further internet use. This is done by means of cookies stored in your browser, which are used by Google to record and evaluate your usage behavior when you visit various websites. In this way Google can determine your previous visit to our website. A combination of the data collected within the scope of remarketing with your personal data, which may be stored by Google, does not take place by Google according to its own statements. According to Google, pseudonymisation is used in remarketing.

We also use Google reCAPTCHA on our websites. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).

The purpose of reCAPTCHA is to check whether the data input on our websites (e.g. in a contact form) is done by a human being or by an automated program. For this purpose, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For analysis purposes, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, time spent on the website or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google.

The reCAPTCHA analyses run completely in the background. Website visitors are not notified that an analysis is taking place. The data processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting his web offers from abusive automated spying and from SPAM.

For more information about Google reCAPTCHA and Google’s privacy policy, please see the following links: https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/ and https://www.google.com/recaptcha/intro/android.html.

Our website uses the visitor action pixel of Facebook; Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”) to measure conversion.

This allows the behavior of site visitors to be tracked after they have been redirected to the provider’s website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This allows the effectiveness of Facebook ads to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising campaigns to be optimized.

The collected data is anonymous for us as the operator of this website, we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes, in accordance with the Facebook Data Usage Policy. This allows Facebook to enablethe placement of advertisements on pages of Facebook and outside of Facebook. This use of the data cannot be influenced by us as a site operator.

You can find further information on the protection of your privacy in the Facebook privacy statement: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

You can also disable the remarketing feature “Custom Audiences” in the Advertising Settings section at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen. You must be logged in to Facebook to do this.

7. Integration of Vimeo

We have plugins from the video portal Vimeo. Provider is Vimeo Inc. 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA, which is integrated into our online offer.

When you visit one of our sites equipped with a Vimeo plugin, a connection to the Vimeo servers is established. This tells the Vimeo server which of our pages you have visited. Vimeo also obtains your IP address. This also applies if you are not logged in to Vimeo or do not have an account with Vimeo. The information collected by Vimeo is transferred to the Vimeo server in the USA. For more information about how Vimeo handles user information, please refer to the Vimeo Privacy Policy at: https://vimeo.com/privacy.

If you are logged in to your Vimeo account, you allow Vimeo to assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your Vimeo account

8. Integration of Youtube

We use YouTube video files embedded on our website.

YouTube is a service from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA. Google is certified in the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus guarantees compliance with European data protection law.

Our YouTube videos were embedded with the “NoCookie” option from the advanced data protection settings on YouTube. This prevents personal data from being automatically saved by Google.
However, as soon as you click on the video and start it, the Google servers will be contacted. In this case, a transfer of personal data to the Google server is possible, over which we have no influence.

9. Integration of Google Maps and Web Fonts

On this website we use the offer of Google Maps (provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). This allows us to display interactive maps directly on the website and allows you to use the map function in a comfortable way.

By visiting the website, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding subpage of our website. In addition, the data mentioned under point 3 of this declaration is transmitted. This happens regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in at Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account. If you do not want the assignment with your profile at Google, you have to log out before activating the button. Google stores your data as user profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide need-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact Google to exercise this right.

For more information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by the plug-in provider, please refer to the provider’s privacy policy. There you will also find further information about your rights and settings to protect your privacy: http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. Google alsoprocesses your personal data in the USA and has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

This site uses so-called web fonts, which are provided by Google, for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.

For this purpose, the browser you use must connect to Google’s servers. This enables Google to know that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and attractive presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest in the sense of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a default font is used by your computer.

Your registration is only complete once you have confirmed your registration by clicking on the link contained in a confirmation e-mail sent to you for this purpose. 11. right of objection

If data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 letter e or f DPA, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. The respective legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this data protection declaration. If you lodge an objection, we will no longer process your personal data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling reasons for processing which are worthy of protection and which outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or unless the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims (objection pursuant to Art. 21 Par. 1 DSGVO).

If your personal data are processed for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of such marketing, including profiling, insofar as it relates to such direct marketing. If you object, your personal data will no longer be used for the purpose of direct marketing (objection under Art. 21 para. 2 DSGVO).

12. Data security

We use the common SSL (Secure Socket Layer) procedure within the website visit in connection with the highest encryption level supported by your browser. Usually this is a 256 bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. You can tell whether an individual page of our website is being transmitted in encrypted form by the closed display of the key or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.

We also use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
